UP Reg System...
It could be better you know... and the CRS team... just the same.
Am about to embark on that challenge again: Registration Day... or Registration Week, if I may say so. Darn it. I only got 4 subjects enlisted! 2 majors and Physics lecture and lab... Good luck to me.

It's fun when I'm depressed...
Had yet another haircut.
Had a pedicure.
Watched Amazing Race 4 replay. (Go Virgins and Clowns!)
Ate 3 chocolate bars.
Went shopping.
Watched Bruce Almighty. (Laugh trip...)
Life is good when you're down.

Gloomy and Depressed
Haven't blogged in a week. I won't elaborate... Let's just say too much pride leads to inevitable failure. A summer wasted. Hmph. This is my weather. I love the windy, cloudy, chilly feel of this time of the year... Hell, I was born this of the year. Maybe because I'm a miserable person at heart, or maybe I'm just feeling really gloomy. Whatever the case, this is the weather for me.
Sorry, if you can't follow... Just random babbles of a depressed creature.

Nothing Gold Can Stay
Robert Frost
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
Out in the Fields with God
Anonymous
The little cares that fretted me
I lost them yesterday
Among the fields, above the sea,
Among the winds at play,
Among the lowing of the herds,
The rustling of the trees,
Among the singing of the birds,
The humming of the bees.
The foolish fears of what might happen,
I cast them all away,
Among the clover-scented grass,
Among the new-mown hay,
Among the husking of the corn,
Where drowsy poppies nod,
Where ill thoughts die and good are born--
Out in the fields with God.
If
Rudyard Kipling
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too:
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;
If you can dream---and not make dreams your master;
If you can think---and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same:.
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build'em up with worn-out tools;
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings,
And never breathe a word about your loss:
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings---nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much:
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And---which is more---you'll be a Man, my son!

We enjoy warmth because we have been cold.
We appreciate light because we have been in darkness.
By the same token, we can experience joy because we have known sadness.
-David Weatherford
There are as many nights as days, and the one is just as long as the other in the year's course.
Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word 'happy' would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.
-Carl Jung
Don't fear failure so much that you refuse to try new things.
The saddest summary of a life contains three descriptions: could have, might have, and should have.
-Louis E. Boone
Life is pleasant.
Death is peaceful.
It's the transition that's troublesome

Better by far you should forget and smile than that you should remember and be sad.

It is the chain that you're dragging
That was once your relief
That's like everything that's born to die
And the birth of a doubt that was once your belief
Is drowning in the tears that you cry
-Ozzy Osbourne: Never
You gotta keep one eye looking over your shoulder
You know it's going to get harder, and harder, and harder as you get older
And in the end you'll pack, fly down south
Hide your head in the sand
Just another sad old man
All alone and dying of cancer.
Pink Floyd: Dogs
so tired of the straight line
and everywhere you turn
there's vultures and thieves at your back
and the storm keeps on twisting
you keep on building the lie
that you make up for all that you lack
it don't make no difference
escaping one last time
it's easier to believe in this sweet madness oh
this glorious sadness that brings me to my knees

Quel, thanks for the song...
Pretend To Be Nice
(Josie and the Pussycats)
Well, he looks at me with those innocent eyes
And says it looks like you're wearing some kind of disguise
Because your hair sticks up and your shoes are untied
And I hope you got that shirt at half price
And every word I say falls flat on the floor I try to tell a joke - he's heard it before
And I don't think I can take it no more
Cause he's driving me right out my front door
Why do you do what you do to me baby?
You're shaking my confidence, driving me crazy
You know if I could I'd do anything for you
Please don't ignore me cause you know I adore you
Can't you just pretend to be nice?
Can you at least pretend to be nice?
If you could just pretend to be nice
Everything in my life would be alright
And I try so hard just to figure him out
But he won't tell me what he's been thinking about
And then he falls asleep on the living room couch
With his sunglasses on and his tongue hanging out
And then he disappears for a week at a time
And then he just shows up just like everything's fine
And I don't get what goes on in his mind
But I'm tired of hearing the same stupid lines...

Who to turn to...
It is sad to think that it's only in times of desperation and times of difficulties that most people remember Him. I can definitely attest to that... I'm in a rocky situation right now, and as I am desperate - I seem to be praying more and more lately. I beg for guidance, I ask for help, I want some signs... and sometimes, they do come... But it's really sad to think that I usually forget how good He is. No I am not being philosophical or all-religious here. It's just that sometimes, I regret not remembering Him. I regret not being able to talk to Him and thank Him for all the wonderful things He has done. I regret only turning to Him when I am in trouble. But He is really good, you know... Despite all that, I know deep in my heart, He still cares. Thank God for that.

100 Things About Margaux (Part 2)
51. She first had her period two months before her 11th birthday... and she started having acne at the age of 10. Ugh.
52. She thinks she sends a minimum of 15 text messages or SMS's a day... Tsk-tsk.
53. She never got to know her grandparents on her father's side... Her grandma died even before her parents got married and her grandpa died when she was just a little kid. She's very, very close to her other grandparents, though.
54. She's not a good singer. She realized that when she was in seventh-grade... she just couldn't seem to sound right. She only sings to herself... you can never make her sing for you. Really ironic, as she came from the high school batch known as the "singing batch in AA".
55. She's a dog-person... not a cat-person.
56. She's a reality-tv show-addict. She's hooked on the Amazing Race and Survivor... even Temptation Island. Eeek.
57. She thinks little boys are cute and little girls are... well, bratty. No, she's not a pedophile. Well, little girls smell nice and little boys stink...
58. The first time she rode an elevator as a kid... she got really woozy and almost puked on a man in a corporate suit. Kidding. Ha.
59. One of her most beloved TV shows is The Wonder Years... It was just a well-crafted series, though quite sentimental.
60. She was practically in tears when she read how Gavroche died in Les Miserables. (Hmmm, she seems to like lots of miserable things...)
61. Call her a goody-goody, but she only learned to cuss when she was in fourth year high school. She'd been accustomed to just say "Shucks"... which evolved to "Sh*t"... which later became "F*ck* and the list goes on. But she only cusses on ocassion, though.
62. She had always dreamed of living and journeying through Europe for a year. She'd definitely want to visit the Sistine Chapel, the Louvre Museum and the whatchamacallit fountain in Italy.
63. She had always seen herself as a devoted sister, a caring "Ate" - though she hardly ever shows it. If you mess with her little siblings, you mess with her - and when you mess with her, it won't be pretty.
64. Under her grandma's influence, she's been a good Catholic as a little girl. She wore nice dresses to church and prayed fervently... She's been a good kid. She's trying to instill good values to her younger siblings but the times have changed. Children aren't that naive anymore... Sad thought.
65. She started keeping at diary when she was in fourth grade - she stopped doing so, when her parents got hold of it when she was in sixth-grade. That was one of the lousiest times in her life.
67. And she admits it finally - she used to be a teenybopper. Mostly, during sixth- and seventh-grade when all the BSB, Spice Girls, Hanson, etc. craze came out. Lotsa money wasted on Pop magazines. Blech.
68. Her favorite dessert is Leche Flan! As in! She's craving for one right now.
69. She simply adores Michelangelo's David sculpture. It was just looked so perfect.
70. She's a really good liar... which comes pretty handy at times, as bad as that may sound. Sometimes she'd tell a bluff for the sake of telling a bluff... (Ooh... this revelation didn't sound too good...)
71. She'd had a total of 10 little, itsy-bitsy crushes and 5 serious and long-term ones. Needless to say, nothing happened with any of them.
72. For some time when she was a kid, she wanted to become a Nun. Scarrry... for the world.
73. She loves the beach... especially when the sole of her feet dug beneath the rough sand while the waves tumble ashore. She loves the beach for the view and the experience - not for the swim.
74. She had always wanted to know what it's like to have a "Kuya" or an older brother. A good, caring older brother at that... Oh and someone who can also be her driver once in awhile and it wouldn't hurt if he's got good-looking friends.
75. The longest time that she was ever on the phone was 3 and a half hours... It's not so bad, as many people stay up overnight on the phone with their loveydoveys.
76. She can make herself cry really good... Just a few blinks here and there and... voila! Tears galore... She's not an effective actress, though.
77. She was once an old country music fan mainly because of her dad... They both loved James Taylor's "Fire and Rain".
78. She likes to watch CNN, BBC and Channel News Asia... Weird? Maybe... but she just likes watching the news when nothing else is interesting on TV. She's even got her favorite international news anchors!
79. People keep telling her that she's got the nicest and softest hands in the world... Errr... She does her own share of chores at home, mind you. The hands were simply just like that.
80. Some of her worst fears are dying unfulfilled, growing old alone and forgotten, and losing something or someone very, very special.
81. She doesn't have a really close relationship with her mother - but she can confide on her mom about anything. It's a weird relationship - sometimes they get along really, really well... other times... well, never mind.
82. She loves pasta. She loves Italian food... She wants a man who can cook her the best-tasting and most delicious pasta carbonara in the world.
83. Give her headache, tummy ache, a broken finger... just don't make her suffer a toothache.
84. Most people tell her that she's very intimidating and "masungit" at the first impression. Some changed their minds... others... well, the first impression lasted.
85. She thinks she's a little bit of Charlotte (from Sex and the City), Joey (from Dawson's Creek) and Felicity (from, duh, Felicity)!
86. Much as she loves sports - she's only limited to being a spectator - she is in no way athletic and would be a major klutz in whatever kind of sport.
87. Here's the ironic thing: She's bitchy if you're a friend and really nice if you're the enemy.
88. She has perfected the art of eavesdropping... You'd think she's just reading a book, got her headphones blaring, or simply sleeping... But nooo, she's been listening to the conversations of the people nearby the whole time. *wink*
89. She is near-sighted. She started wearing glasses during the latter part of second year high school. Hmph. She thinks her vision is getting worse and worse... She's not even sure if its 100/150 or 150/175.
90. She'd want to name her son Ethan and her daughter Aliyah... Who knows, she might change her mind tomorrow?
91. She was alone during her first ride IKOT jeep, she began freaking out in her mind when the jeep went off the campus proper... She actually thought she rode the wrong jeepney... After going back into the UP campus, she breathed a sigh of relief. "Yun pala yung route nung IKOT..."
92. One of the semi-historical books written by a Filipino that she really loved was, Without Seeing the Dawn. The subject matter seemed too deep and too heavy for a first-year-high-schooler, but she liked it a lot.
93. Her favorite ice cream flavors are Vanilla and Coffee Crumble... and of course, the undying favorite from the Fruits in Ice Cream collection at the SC: Strawberry ice cream.
94. The only household chore she'd like to do is ironing her clothes, which she does from time to time.
93. The summer before first year high school and also the one before second year high school - all she did was read and browse through the volumes of their encyclopaedia. Really productive, huh?
94. She hates langka and durian. Yeuch.
95. Her favorite subjects in school were Art, English and World History... Nerd, nerd, nerd. Notice how Math wasn't there?
96. She doesn't like her nose. 'Nuff said.
97. She used to be camera-shy as a kid... now she wants to be in every barkada and family picture, as much as possible!
98. She wants her man to have a passion for something interesting. This is a major requirement. May it be art, sports, literature, gardening... anything! Shows that he has a life and can be very devoted when he wants to.
99. If you see her somewhere or she passes you by and didn't greet you or anything... She's not being a snob - she's probably not wearing her glasses and would never recognize you unless you're 3 feet directly in front of her.
100. She's not a good dancer. Hell, you should see her try and then take pity.
Whew. That was a long list!

100 Things About Margaux (Part One)
1. She's not good at public speaking. She clams up, stutters and fidgets. She can write a good speech, just don't expect her to deliver it.
2. She's a choco-addict. She will eat anything chocolate. She loves Toblerone and Cadbury chocolate bars.
3. Her very first childhood crush lasted four years... over a single guy who hasn't got a clue she exists. Pathetic? Yes. Thank God, it's all over now.
4. She loves watching American teen shows. Even though they can be very redundant and pointless at times. She adored Dawson's Creek and Felicity.
5. Back in high school, she was known to be the girl who write tragic love stories. At least one of the lead characters just had to die in the end of every story... or it's not her story at all.
6. She had a very HUGE crush on Taylor Hanson from sixth grade to first year high school. She used to celebrate his birthday every March 14 with Taylor posters all over the house.
7. She hates to exercise.
8. She's an avid tennis and soccer fan. She's been watching tennis on TV for five years now while she's been following the European football scene for almost thee years now. Her favorite players are Andy Roddick and Carlos Moya in tennis and Raul Gonzales in football.
9. She loves romantic comedies. Among her favorites are While You Were Sleeping, When Harry Met Sally and The Truth About Cats and Dogs... Um, yeah... She's All That was very likable too.
10. She loves reading books. Any kind of book... as long as there's an interesting plot.
11. She's mesmerized with Van Gogh, Dali and Michelangelo's works. They are just simply geniuses to her. She even had a term paper on Van Gogh's life when she was in fourth year high school.... and got a 96% (the third highest score) for it. Ha.
12. She's always wondered if she'll ever meet a guy with Christ's (yes, Jesus Christ's) personality. Not the whole "never sinned" part, but the humane and noble part of his personality. Weird? Kinda...
13. She wants to grow taller... Much much much taller. Boo-hoo.
14. Her favorite number is 7. Seven. She doesn't know why. Maybe because it's Raul's jersey number?
15. Her love-life is non-existent. She can't seem to find any guy worthy of her love... or devotion.
16. One of her all-time favorite songs, is Lisa Loeb's Stay. That song with that melody just captivated her.
17. Her ultimate celebrity crushes are Ethan Hawke, Keanu Reeves, Ian Somerhalder, Jude Law and Ryan Philippe. Ahhh...
18. If she won't be an architect, she'll be a freelance writer... If she still can't be a freelance writer, she'll be a photographer. If she still won't be a photographer... Hell, she'd rather live like a bum.
19. She wants either an artist or an athlete for a boyfriend.
20. Pinaglihi siya sa marshmallows... Maybe that's why she's got pudgy cheeks. Ewww.
21. She never liked Math and Math never liked her. She doesn't know how she'll survive her course with that frame of mind...
22. She was obsessed with fairy tales as a kid. She had more fairy tale books on her shelf than toys in her room.
23. There was a time she went through the Christopher Pike and RL Stine craze. She's yet to find a third book, The Burning, of the Fear Street Saga... She still wants to find out how it all really began.
24. She's a righty... but ambidextrous when it comes to texting...
25. She loves shopping, shopping, shopping... But hates paying up for it, so she usually tags her mom along with her.
26. The first and last time she had an operation at the hospital was when she was just two years old. She ran, tripped and hit the side of a glass cabinet... She needed a couple of stitches on the left side of her lower lip. Scars are visible if you look closely.
27. She believes that Brothers Burgers make the best hamburgers in the world. Well, in her world... at least.
28. Her college friends used to tease her about liking the color orange way too much - it was the color of her old wallet, her notebook, her rulers and triangles... and they even freaked when they saw a picture of her prom - She was wearing an orange dress! (But no, orange is not her favorite color... It was just a coincidence!)
29. She liked the prom preparations better than the prom itself. She was part of the chosen few to paint the backdrop and twas a fun experience.
30. She watched Titanic a total of five times and Clueless a total of eight times. Pathetic, pathetic, pathetic.
31. She loves the 80's movies... especially the Molly Shannon and the Brat Pack ones. Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, St. Elmo's Fire and The Breakfast Club... Sigh. There's just something about the radical 80's culture that she liked.
32. She had lots of Barbie dolls when she was a child... and she had a pretty wild imagination thinking up stories to play on. Like Barbie being an undercover detective working at a Pizza Place and transforming into a superhero at night chasing a villain polar bear named Scatch! Talk about complex, complicated and crazy.
33. She is the eldest of four kids and the most protected child... Her parents are always strict with her. It sucks, but they also give in quite easily to her biddings. How ironic...
34. She'd love a koala bear or any kind of cute cudly bear for a pet...
35. She had a total 7 cellular phone-changes in a span of 4 years. Her mom has this second-hand cellphone sideline thingy and sometimes sells Maragux's phone and buys her a new one in turn. Haha. She first had a Nokia 6510 for two and a half-years, a Nokia 3310 for two months, a Nokia 8250 for five months, a Nokia 5210 for another few months, then a Nokia 6150, a Nokia 3530 and finally, the latest and the last one ever - a Nokia 6610. Whew.
36. Her all-time favorite cartoons as a kid watching ABS-CBN's morning shows, was A Dog Of Flanders. She cried after watching the end of that series... Nelo and Patrash died. It was sooo sad for a ten-year-old to bear, but she liked it a lot.
37. Call her crazy... but she watches French, Italian, Korean and Chinese soap operas and movies on cable every now and then - even without the subtitles! She just loves learning about other cultures and sees the whole language barrier thing as a challenge. She followed two soaps, a French drama (with subtitles) called Cape des Pins and a Korean drama (without subtitles) for a year, and pretty much understood the storyline.
38. She loved playing Tumbang Preso, Agawan Base and Doctor Wakwak as a kid. She played with the kids of her Grandma's neighbors.
39. All of her names (first, second, middle and last) have 9 letters each... Her mom just wanted them that way.
40. She hates swimming because she cannot swim that well! She only learned the basics of swimming when she was in first year high school!
41. She hates the taste of beer... but can take on vodka and tequila.
42. She's got a huge crush on Prince Andrea Casiraghi of Monaco... A really huge crush that she even dreamt of him constantly for a month once. He is truly the hottest royal in the world!
43. She cried 5 times in school when she was in elementary and 3 times (excluding the Recollection and Class Encounter moments) in high school. Some bitch of a director bossed her around in second year because she didn't bring the right kind of Props! Well, excuse herrr... She spent two months writing the script - why would anyone appoint her as the Props manager, too?!
44. She is incessantly underweight. Even the school nurse in Assumption pointed that out year after year.
45. She probably has the worst and the most painful case of dysmenorrhea in the world. She'd usually spend the day tossing and turning in bed because of the unbearable pain.
46. She secretly wants to have an Anna Kournikova body... Yes, yes, yes... Pathetic, but what the hell. Just the body - nothing else. The girl's got a really toned one.
47. She was a member of the Plaid Ideas (Assumption Antipolo school paper) writing staff in seventh grade... Didn't have much fun, but she did learn a lot.
48. She dreams in color, but she remembers dreamin in black and white, too...
49. She constantly read the Sweet Valley Series as a kid and pre-teen. Her life used to be filled with the highs and woes of the Wakefield twins. Ugh.
50. She had been part of the Flores de Mayo as a sagala for five times already. She wonders how come they haven't asked her to be part of it this year? Haha.
to be concluded...

Blah, Blah, Blah
Okay, first things first... Real Madrid's now out of the UEFA Champions League. They lost to Juventus 4-3 on aggregate. Ugh. Raul and Ronaldo were injured... and yeah, they were pretty unlucky. Hmph. It's an all-Italian Final at Old Trafford then... Go AC Milan!
Sigh. I miss my blog. School really sucks. Anyway, I just got home from an appointment with my dermatologist (read: major ouch!) and yeah, I also got to watch The Matrix: Reloaded. Twas a good movie... plus Keanu Reeves was there! Most of the fight scenes were pretty long and pointless though. Loved the love story, though a bit cliche-ish. Well, that's what I think anyway... and yeah, it was also such a cliff-hanger. Hmph.
Oh and the downside of having Philippine Games for PE? Dark skin. Ughhh. I've been using loads of sunblock, but it just gets darker and darker everyday...

Survivor Spoiler - if you haven't seen it yet!
Jenna ... won. Hell. I wanted Matt to win coz Jenna was a bit bratty... but it's all okay, though. People did underestimate her and yeah, she had pretty subtle but sneaky strategies.

I Can't Read You
by Daniel Bedingfield
"I'm never shy but this is different
I can't explain the way I'm feeling tonight
I'm losing control of my heart
Tell me what can I do to make you happy
Nothing I ever say seems to come out right
I'm losing control of my heart
And I wish that I could be
Another better part of me
Can't hear what your thinking
Maybe if I just let go
you'd open up your heart
But I can't read you
I wish I knew what's going through your mind
Can't touch you, your heart defending I get left behind
I can't reach you
I wish I knew what's going through your mind
Can't touch you, your heart protecting I get left behind
No no no no no
No no no no no
I like you so much I'm acting stupid
I can't play the game I'm all intense and alive
I'm losing control of my heart
I'm not supposed to be this nervous
I should play my hand all cool and calm
I can't breathe
I'm losing control of my heart
And I wish that you could see
The other better parts of me
Feel this fire I'm feeling
Then you'd see me in control
And baby then you'd know
But I can't read you
I wish I knew what's going through your mind
Can't touch you, your heart defending I get left behind
I can't reach you
I wish I knew what's going through your mind
Can't touch you, your heart protecting I get left behind
No no no no no..."
Seems like all his songs are for the broken-hearted or those victims of unrequited love. Hmmm, I wonder why?

Little Women
Sigh. Quel's mail brought up old memories about one of my fave books as a child... or pre-teen, Little Women. There is some truth to what Laurie said, "You won't show the soft side of your character, and if a fellow gets a peep at it by accident and can't help showing he likes it, you treat him as Mrs.Gummidge did her sweetheart --- throw cold water over him --- and get so thorny no one dares touch or look at you."
Oh well.

Survivor
I tell you... I sooo want Matt to win Survivor: the Amazon. I used to think he was a psycho... but now, I just want him to win it.

I'm not as think as you drunk I am!
Last night... was really fun. Twas nice getting together (after enduring the second Math 53 exam earlier that day) to relax and unwind. It was such a laugh-trip and yeah... I just felt really at ease with all of my college friends. Sure, we've only known each other for less than a year or so, but we've all become very comfortable with one another.
And yes... it helps to get to know people when they're drunk.

Nokia 6610
Call me a cellphone junkie... Call me too lavish with my cellphone... Call me whatever. But I got a new phone (again!)... a Nokia 6610 and yes, it is my 8th cellphone in 3 years. This is the last, last, last one my mom is going to buy me... ever. Oh, don't think that I've got 8 cellphones right now... I've only got one. My mom has this second-hand cellphone business thingy going on... She sold my old cellphones and just replaced them with a new one. Am I such a bratty, spoiled kid? Sorrrrry.
Friday, May 09, 2003
Man... I've been really neglecting my blog! The past week had been really busy with school and other stuff... I took the second Math 53 exam yesterday and I just hope I did okay. Well, I hope I passed! God, I am sooo going to regret it if I flunk that class.
Anyway, it is almost 5AM and yes, I am still up and blogging... I got home from a night-out with my college friends at around 3AM and I've been trying to catch up on all the things I've missed out on the cyberworld. Sigh... I missed quite a lot of stuff. I don't know... It's like I've been missing out on every good thing that summer brings because of the crappy summer classes. Hmph.
Oh and consider me a Meteor Garden addict. I haven't missed a single episode! God. I don't know... it is addictive. It's not a so-called great realistic show, but it is very funny and entertaining. Like an anime-ish drama and yeah, having a good-lookin' cast doesn't hurt. There's just something about that show... and it's not just F4!
Yawwwn. I finally feel sleepy.

Just Popping In
Yeah... I'm here at the SC, with nothing to do. I failed my first Math 53 exam. Whoopee. I sure hope I pass the second one on Thursday. Or I'm doomed... It's my friend Deb's birthday today... I'm looking forward to that celebration thingy on Firday... I badly need it.
Oh... Meteor Garden isn't that bad. Not realistic, but entertaining.

Quizzes Galore!
Since it'll be a busy week ahead... Well, I just thought I'd leave you guys with some of the results of the quizzes I took out of boredom...
You Have the Power to Turn Things to Stone!
What's Your Magic Power?
brought to you by Quizilla
Oh cool. I like that power!

Neutral:
Harmony and balance is key. You don't look at the
world in a negative or positive way and you'll
never judge or assume a situation- you just
look at the facts. People like you are peaceful
and accepting.
What color do you see the world in?
brought to you by Quizilla
Neutral? Really? Why?

You are an IDEALISTIC VIRGIN.
What Kind of Virgin Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla
Hahahahaha.

cuddle and a kiss on the forehead - you like to be
close to your special someone and feel warm,
comfortable, and needed
What Sign of Affection Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla
Awww... I'd love a cuddle and a kiss right now.

You have a mysterious kiss. Your partner never
knows what you're going to come up with next;
this creates great excitement and arousal never
knowing what to expect. And it's sure to end
in a kiss as great as your mystery.
What kind of kiss are you?
brought to you by Quizilla
A mysterious kiss, huh? Really now?

Jude Law: you like them romantic and British with
beauiful green eyes.
Which guy are you destined to have sex with?
brought to you by Quizilla
Ooh. Jude Law is hottt.

Balanced. You accept your emotions as normal and
are not overly happy nor depressed. You are
emotionally balanced and should find peace in
the way you deal with life situations. Your
emotions are normal and well understood. You
see the light in the dark.
How Emotional Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla
Balanced? Me? Are you sure? Why?! I am definitely not a balanced person! See? See?!

Bleh
Someone posted this at our batch egroup... and well, it should be a bit comforting for the single girls out there. A bit. Just a bit:
"Girls are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. The boys don't want to reach for the good ones because they're afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead they just get the rotten apples that are on the ground, that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think that there is something wrong with them, when in reality, they are amazing. That is why we just have to be a little patient and the right boy, the one who takes a chance to find the good, right apple, will come someday..."

Most of them are funny... and yes, I am bored with nothing to blog about.

Math 53 Poem
Here's a poem that my blocmate and friend, Wacks, posted at our blog (I'm not sure if the blog is public, though):
"I think that there shall never be
A subject as perfect as Math 53
A lovely course so fine and fair
If you can prove that G(f(x)) is there
The limit of x is what?! Heck I dont care
RIght now, i just hope and pray
That i will pass this course someday
For now i will just eat, drink and sleep
And dream all my troubles away"
So, so true, I tell you.
